St. Paul Business Research Library Unveils New Web Site, Astounds and Thrills All Who Visit

Check out the Hill Library’s new Web site! In addition to bringing us a bit closer to the 21st Century design-wise, the site offers easy links to online training classes put on by librarians Deborah, Allen, and Matt; a listing of all of our online research tools; some of our library initiatives; and a bit more about the resources we have for folks visiting us here at the library. Drop on by, stay for a while, and let us know what you think. Thanks to IT and the redesign team for their great work!

Deborah's Gravatar I think this is the best website I've ever seen. Gosh, what a fantastic organizational structure! It's so easy to find what I'm looking for!

Roger Green's Gravatar It's probably my bias, but I never know what terms like Hill Initiatives mean.
Feels a little Inside Baseball to me, but frankly don't have an alternative.
Our organization has Small Business Services - don't know what that means,
either, but it's better than Specialty Services, which it used to be.
Still, if/when you get a site map, it'll be pretty darn swell.

Matt's Gravatar Roger: Ha! I’m with you. “Hill Initiatives” is a business-friendly way of saying “Some other stuff we do.” In our case, that includes some pretty neat initiatives, I mean services, such as the Hill Business Ethics Center, VolunteerResource.org (an online library for managing volunteers), and other stuff that doesn’t exactly fit under the business research heading. At least that’s what I *think* it means…
Deborah: Your points are well-taken and I TOTALLY agree with you.
