Avvo is an online resource dedicated to providing information and guidance on legal matters. The site profiles lawyers, and includes information on each lawyer’s experience, areas of practice, disciplinary history, and even client ratings. According to Avvo, “profile data comes from many sources, including state courts and bar associations, lawyer websites, and information provided by lawyers.”
